About Connor Croll

When Connor Croll was in high school, he took an educational class trip to the Dominican Republic. The experience immersed him in Caribbean culture and inspired him to use his natural gifts and talents to make a difference in the world when he got home. During his visit, Connor also observed many diverse ecosystems, each rich in animal and plant biodiversity. He viewed tropical flora and fauna vastly different from anything he’d ever seen. Most of all, he witnessed a way of life that put his own in perspective and helped him appreciate his lifestyle.

This trip was the catalyst that helped Connor see the planet as a global community and began his interest in philanthropy and volunteerism. Since then, Connor has used his educational experiences and credentials to assist non-profit organizations throughout Charlottesville.

Connor Croll is now a student at the University of Virginia. He studies Organizational Sociology because statistics and numbers fascinate him just as much as Sociology and the study of people. After graduation, he intends to tackle people-related business challenges and use data science to recruit, hire, develop, and retain employees. Connor looks forward to developing statistical models to explain or forecast recruiting, productivity, engagement, and retention results in his future field. Because Connor is a data-driven and highly analytical individual, he already excels at transforming data and insights into astute visualizations and narratives for any audience. Connor is a perpetual student, active listener, and peer instructor who meticulously evaluates analytical decisions. He plans to keep earning certifications and credentials long after graduation.

Connor previously attended Piedmont Community College and majored in Economics. In addition to school, Connor Croll works as a Fulfillment Specialist for Rhoback, an athletic company. Connor handles e-commerce orders and does frequent inventory checks, proactively informing the Fulfillment Manager of any inventory issues. Connor is well-known for providing excellent customer service, serving as a team facilitator, and maintaining storage facilities in top shape.

Connor enjoys sports in his spare time, with a particular fondness for golf. He began working as a golf caddie at Farmington Country Club, the region’s highest-rated club, when he was 16 years old. Connor Croll was a natural tour guide for new visitors and members, in addition to maintaining the courses and transporting player equipment. Connor became a natural historian, quickly describing the historical facts and history of the 1800s institution, which combines contemporary comforts with classical traits. Golf has been Connor’s preferred kind of exercise and relationship-building medium since his involvement began.
